I enjoy haute cuisine and haute couture and other sybaritic encoutrements including log fires,great company and conversation,fine(red)wines and spontenaity...and hugs are a must! My motto in life is 'work hard, play hard'. I have a very adventurous streak and enjoy trying most things at least once. I have had a very positive professional life but I do desire the 'emotional bit'.The romane, the hugging and the stroking are all very important to me. To be honest I think I have focussed too much on the work bit and less on the emotional harmony side. I am not, however, in any rush and am happy to take things slowly. I like to have fun and, and enjoy an impulsive streak at times! I have been describes by colleagues as 'amazingly eclectic'; close friends would say that I just dont meet the right typr of bloke - 'apparently' I need someone who is comfortable in their own skin, affectionate and also has independence (so make of this what you will!).. I am happy wit being 'just me' with nothing to prove to anyone and 'things' being less important than people, experiences and opportunities. I probably have a reasonably comfortable life and believe that it is ok to be fortysomthing and take the odd wrinkle and grey hair into a newfound relationship with pride. I am gregarious and affectionate and loyal and have a keen sense of enjoyment with a positive outlook to life. I enjoy skiing (am not that good though!) and visiting new places and also staying in with great company. i cook a mean dish and entertain regularly. This could all sound like an application for MI5! Not at all.I am in touch with my feminine side and love to feel sexy. Quiet times and relaxation are also essential ingredients. I think I am a normal and happy and positive person who leads a fairly measured and balanced life. I also believe I am a grounded person who is quiet, a good listener and just as happy to be at home as out at times.
