Determined to find my authentic life. I am an English girl living in a small village in South Africa. I moved here to drop out, escape the rat race, simplify my life, walk in the mountains, paint, be creative. All that has happened.. but now I think it is a little too quiet! I have friends all over but not very many of them are in this village. I was living in Johannesburg before, running a business. Before that in California being a new-age 80's hippie. Now I am a combination of all the above, I guess. What does it mean to live your authentic life? Are you doing so? Or are you just drifting along with the tide. So I paint, write poetry every now and then when I am inspired, eat mainly raw food, am very interested in Natural Hygiene and Healing. I probably should have had a proper tertiary education, but I was too busy listening to spiritual masters under the oaks in Ojai. Ultimately, I am a free spirit, a non-conformist. This makes me lonely sometimes.. but nevertheless, I am committed to my journey. I love communicating - I love writing and I love soul connections. If they turn into body connections, cool. But that is the order in which I like it to happen :) Oh - and if you are not in SA that's OK...
